Unfortunately, a marriage proposal at Disneyland Paris this week went wrong as a park employee interrupted their romantic moment.
Disney has apologized to a couple whose now-viral marriage proposal was cut short by an overzealous staff member.
The viral video, which was first shared on Reddit last week, showed a man proposing to his girlfriend on a platform in front of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle in Paris.
The footage shows an employee racing up to the man and taking the ring box from his hands before ushering the couple off the platform.
After a video of the event went viral, Disney is now apologizing for how the employee handled the matter.
"We regret how this was handled," a spokesperson from Disney told Newsweek. "We have apologized to the couple involved and offered to make it right."
A man gets down on one knee in front of his girlfriend in the video, which was first posted on Reddit.
The employee can then be seen snatching the ring box and shooing the guests away from the platform in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
